Recognised as a leading advocate of design, the Design Institute of Australia spans all aspects of design from architecture through to visual communication.
In 2017, they launched their awards program around the design principle of breaking convention, confronting the status quo under the mantra, ‘break something to make something’. This year, we didn’t just want to break something, but rather encourage making something new – something award-winning. We celebrate design’s ability to create impact in our everyday lives through colour, shape and form. By utilising three basic shapes within the DIA logo, we create a bold and playful brand expression.
